The annual Philadelphia Fire Academy Fire Muster featured a fire demonstration promoting the use of residential sprinklers. Water had to be started early when wind gusts caused radiant heat to interfere with the microphone audio, and threaten the adjacent booth.

After having the shot ruined from a transformer exploding over reporters head, the reporter reassesses the situation.
After a warm day there's rain and wind.
As Pennsylvania's coal industry declines, wind power has become a way to maintain Pennsylvania's energy production heritage. The 13 turbines on Locust Ridge Wind Farm put enough clean, renewable wind energy into the grid to power more than 6,000 homes a year. Residents and businesses in the Philadelphia area can purchase wind power and support further development of these innovative technologies.

http://bookinghunter.com Philadelphia is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the second largest city on the East Coast of the United States, and the fifth-most-populous city in the United States. It is located in the Northeastern United States along the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers, and it is the only consolidated city-county in Pennsylvania. The most important places to visit in Philadelphia are: Franklin Court (was raised in 1812, the ghost of it still stands today. Here is the Christ Church Burial Ground, another famous landmark, where Ben Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence were laid to rest), Congress Hall (was home of the first Congress. On top of that, George Washington and John Adams were inaugurated here, and the Bill of Righ...

I haven't visited historic Philadelphia, the birthplace of America, since I was a kid but this time I brought along my youngest niece. If you love American history, this is a must-do trip. One of the great things about visiting historic Philadelphia is that all of the main attractions are within easy walking distance of each other. We visited Independence Hall (my favorite because the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were signed here), the Liberty Bell, Benjamin Franklin's Grave in Christ Church Burial Ground, the Philadelphia Mint (my niece's favorite because you can see the coins being minted), the President's House (America's first White House), the National Constitution Center (where original copies of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights are held), the Betsy Ross...
Join host Gail Kasper as we take an insiders tour of Philadelphia. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, the Philadelphia Visitor's Channel is your best source for shopping, dining, entertainment, shopping, museums, attractions, historical sites, theater and the best of the countryside.
Take a tour of some of the most historic buildings of America. Historic Philadelphia is where the Founding Fathers laid the groundwork for the creation of America. Not only is the city packed with sites that commemorate what they did, but you can visit the places where they actually lived and worked. Let's start with Declaration House on Seventh and Market Street. Thomas Jefferson lived here during the time he wrote the Declaration of Independence. He wrote the document in three weeks. The Liberty Bell, right here on Sixth Street, is perhaps Philadelphia's most famous attraction. On July 8th, 1776, it was rung to commemorate the hearing of the Declaration of Independence. The Bell weighs 2,000 pounds, which may not be apparent by looking at it. It was cracked in 1846, and has not be...
For more destinations: http://www.craig.reviews/united-states/ For more information on Philadelphia: http://www.craig.reviews/a-weekend-in-philadelphia/ Each weekend that I travel to a different city I try to pack in as many fun and interesting attractions as possible. To showcase how easy and cheap it can be to see the country, I do not take any time off of work (I have to work a full 40 hours on each side of the weekend). Additionally, I use a couple money saving techniques like couch surfing and kayak explore. This weekend I am in Philadelphia, and here is my itinerary: - Frontier Airlines (19,536 miles used, valued at $224.40) - Trenton/Couchsurfing 1) Reading Terminal Market ($8.10) 2) Independence Hall ($0) 3) Liberty Bell ($0) 4) Washington Square ($0) 5) The Curtis Center/Drea...

overview With its rich #historical #heritage, #Philadelphia is one of the United States' most visited cities. After all, both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were signed here in Independence Hall. Renaissance man Benjamin Franklin once called this city home. And before Washington, D.C. usurped its role, Philadelphia served as the country's capital. Yet the city is far from being stuck in its glorious past. The Philly of today is filled with notable museums, a bumping nightlife, beloved sports teams and a thriving restaurant scene that encompasses more than just the ubiquitous cheesesteak. Best Things To Do in Philadelphia History pervades Philadelphia's major attractions: America's Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence here in Independen...

After a few days affected by the Winter Storm Jonas, I flew from Philadelphia to Fort Lauderdale. I must say that 75% of the flight we experienced from moderate to heavy turbulence. At 15:35 you can watch one of the shakiest parts of the flight. Maybe is not that bad, but I think is one of the strongest turbulence I've experienced. Seconds fron landing you can hear the flight attendant yell to a passenger that was trying to stand up. This flight took 35 more minutes due to Tornado warnings in the Miami area and the captain took the route to the west side of Florida, then to the South and finally to the East.
